These are some old crafts I did. The ones I like are called sunburst mirrors and I got the inspiration from a Mcdonalds that was supposed to be set in the 50's.. I am in love with the 50's so I decided to try to recreate them, seeing as buying one would cost anywhere from $70 or more. You have to pay mega bucks for ones that look decent too, this one from CSN stores on Amazon costs 500+.

So far I've made 4. The materials I used are:
2 packs of wooden dowels: 1 square, 1 round
Gray spray paint
2 packs of different sized circular mirrors
1 convex mirror (found in the automotive section of most department or dollar stores)
and a buttload of hot glue.
Most of these you can find at Walmart. You can also get them at michaels but they cost more.
I averaged it out and it costs about 10 dollars to make each one. Which sounds like a lot but I usually bought my materials over time so it didnt seem too expensive.
It's still a hell of a lot cheaper than $70 for an ugly one at target.
